1XV Captain 2011
Jersey No. 12
Height: 185cm
Weight: 105kg
Born: Kograh, Sydney NSW
Descended from: Tonga
Question 1: Who is your favourite Rugby Sportsman and why?
It's got to be Jonah Lomu. 1 - because he is Tongan and not Chonga (that's where G'Hard is from ... Tonga with a 'T'. 2 - He is generally regarded as the first true global superstar in rugby union which I agree with 100%. 3 - Lomu's attacking prowess can be attributed in part to pure power; when near the try line he often ran his 102kg frame straight into or over any defenders who had the misfortune to get in his way (a move informally known as the 'Tongan sidestep'). However, most of his famous tries were ignited by electric pace (as a schoolboy he ran the 100m in 10.8s) as he stepped 'in-and-out' on his opposites and ran around them, then used his powerful fends on the cover defence ... which sounds a lot like me if you ask! 4 - He's gone through 7 women in his life, marrying 4 and currently working on the 5th. He's dating another player from a 'Blues' wife. So ... when I say he's a player I mean PLAYAH !! Dawwwg ... oh ... yeah and Digby Ioane gets a mention because he's a Saa (which I will let him off for sometimes ) and he can flip and flop, spin and break and dougie !!
Question 2: What do you like most about SACS? (be honest ...)
When I left my old school I cried because I was leaving not only a school but a family called CBC Burwood! I hated SACS when I initially walked through the SAH foyer. I was scared I wouldn't fit in and find anyone that could understand where I was from and what I was about ... not until I was stuck in Year 7 classes with a kid by the name of LUKE PREECE. He made school very interesting and kind of reminded of me of my old mates from Burwood where we shared everything we had and were so relaxed about stuff. I've often wondered if he was a Islander stuck in a fair skinned body! ... and I've seen a few ... trust me! ... they don't end up too good, if you know what I mean ... Now back to SACS; SACS has really grown on me since then and I dearly cherish it for the opportunity to experience something most other school kids don't from the suburbs. I take pride in my friends and our rugby programme, especially the 1st XV ... rah rah rah ... I've said enough I guess. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL for many reasons but I don't like it for other reasons. I don't want to leave the place now in my Year 12 because I won't see my beloved Julia Mico everyday ... but oh well ... just like Tupac - the great Tongan rapper rhymed 'Life Goes On' ... R.I.P KC
Question 3: Who is your favourite SACS Rugby Player and Coach and why?
My favourite player would be Samuela Felemi (No. 13 1XV Player 2009 - 2011) and Coach (don't really want to pick fav's ) but ... it's Mr. Mic.
Samu - because we've been the centre pairing for the majority of last year and the whole of this year and some of the things he does on the field never cease to amaze me. The team always expects big things from him and he always delivers ... (well ... sometimes ... LOL). Being a 3rd year veteran of the 1st XV, he is also the most capped 1st XV player on our roster ... (and he always reminds us). He's the funniest kid on the team and a loyal mate, full stop! ... now to get off my knees LMAO!
Mr. Mic - He's good. I like his really relaxed nature and he's got a good sense of humour. When it's needed though, he knows when to really give us a kick up the backside ... literally! His methods and describing of things are sometimes quite funny I like him as a mentor and a bloke ... I wouldn't mind having a couple of pints with him when I'm a Wallaby down the track .... ILLCHAY !!!!!!
Question 4: If you could have dinner with only 3 people on the planet, who would they be?
Dinner with 3? ... Don't know ... um ... definitely K.C !!! Cause I miss him ... then Beyonce - cause she's amazing and she can provide entertainment for the night (I know what you are thinking, get your mind out of the gutter people! ha ha!) ... and last but not least, Beau Ryan aka 'DJ Yallah' in the house!?! .. DOGGIES BRO !!!
Question 5: Favourite joke
There was a Captain called 'Brendo' sailing on the sea during a battle. His servant, 'Birdman' came up to him and the Captain said, "Bring me my red shirt".
So 'Birdman' did as the Captain said.
After that the servant came up to the Captain and said, "Why did you say bring me my red shirt"?
Captain 'Brendo' said, "Well if I get shot they won't see the blood".
The next day the servant came up to the Captain and said, "There are 50 ships on the horizon"!
The Captain said, "Bring me my brown pants"
