-- Season 2011 --

And so it begins ... another year, another season, another time to leave everything on the field to determine who are the champions of Year 2011.

Why SACS "RuGBee"? Where did the name emerge from? I'm glad you asked!

For the first time since the creation of the treasured team of the year 'Courtnay Poulden' Cup' (gifted to St Andrew's Rugby in 1971); a B squad team also known as the 16B's, 'Killer Bees' was rewarded this prestigious award above all others. No one would've thought that a second 16's squad would be given this honor.

Through pure determination, passion and courage the 'Killer Bees' fought through to the end of season 2010, ultimately being rewarded with the engraved "2010 - 16 B", forever sealing their achievement.

So, in short, in homage to the 16B's, we salute you and change the name of SACS Rugby to 'RuGBee'.
My guess is that they are still in shock ....... we all are!

'SACS RuGBee' was created for the enjoyment of a few. As you continue to support the 'Blue and White', whether you play, or watch and scream from the sidelines, we thank you and hope that you enjoy the season of 2011.
